Scouting in Cumbria

Cumbria is a Scout County of the Scout Association of the United Kingdom, covering the administrative County of Cumbria. The County Commissioner is Ivor J Hughes [1]

Scouts in Cumbria help their local community in many ways, including planting trees.[2] and the John Muir Award.[3]

30 Scouts from Cumbria will join 10 Scouts from Isle of Man to form a contingent at the 21st World Scout Jamboree at Hylands Park, Essex in 2004.[4]
