Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) is a school district that covers most of the city of Scottsdale, Arizona. It was founded in 1896 and serves 27,000 students. The district claims to be "Arizona's Most Excelling School District" as 21 of its 33 schools have a rating of Excelling from the Arizona Department of Education.[1]
