Scott Woeckel

Scott Woeckel is a pivotal figure in the Los Angeles music scene promoting a resurgence in straight ahead music and spearheading a massive shift among local musicians seeking to incorporate jazz styles into their music. His expertise has been sought after by Hollywood and his works have been featured in several motion pictures. He was honored to appear in the Duke Ellington Centennial at UCLA's Royce Hall where he was selected to play the event by legendary guitarist Kenny Burrell. His original compositions have also been featured on MTV's hit show "the Osbournes", and his music can be heard in the 2006 DVD release of Rated X: A Journey through Porn available on Pathfinder Entertainment in stores world wide.
