Scott Robert Thorman (born January 6, 1982 in Cambridge, Ontario) is, as of 2007, a baseball player for the Atlanta Braves. He was drafted in the 1st round, 30th overall in 2000 by the Braves. He also played for Canada in the inaugural World Baseball Classic. He has steadily risen through the Braves organization and finished 2005 with their AAA team, the Richmond Braves. He made his major league debut on June 18, 2006. His first major league hit was an RBI single against Scott Downs of the Toronto Blue Jays on June 20, 2006.
