Scott Sommer

Scott Sommer was an American author (born February 20, 1951; died November 18, 1993)[1].

He was the author of four novels and one collection of short stories.

  • 1979 - Nearing's Grace
  • 1981 - Lifetime (Collection of Short Stories)
  • 1982 - Last Resort
  • 1985 - Hazzard's Head
  • 1989 - Still Lives

He was also the screenwriter of the film CrissCross starring Goldie Hawn [2]. His 1979 Novel Nearing's Grace was made into the 2002 feature film Nearing Grace [3]. He also appeared as an extra in an episode of Crossing Delancy and and episode of Knot's Landing.

The Writer's Voice offered the "Scott Sommer Fiction Award" as late as 1999. The winner received $1,000 and an a special reading.
