Scott Morris

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scott Morris is a former American mixed martial artist.

Morris used Ninjutsu as his fighting style, representing Robert Bussey's Warrior International at UFC 2 in 1994. In the Tournament, he submitted Sean Daugherty with a guillotine choke in the first round, but lost to Patrick Smith by Ko in the Quarterfinals.

Scott Morris was beat up very badly by Patrick Smith, and the knockout has been known as the most brutal in UFC history. Morris sustained a series of punches and elbows to the throat, mouth and face.

The match was the reason that UFC implemented several new rules.

Brian Kilmeade, the announcer on UFC 2, was famously quoted referring to Scott Morris, "We don't know much about him, because he is a ninja."
