Scott Brunner (football player)

Scott Brunner (born 1957) is a retired NFL quarterback who played for the New York Giants from 1980 to 1984 and the St. Louis Cardinals in 1985.

Brunner was chosen as the starting QB by Bill Parcells over Phil Simms for the 1980 season. In 1983, Brunner lead the Giants to the only National Football League playoff game the Giants had won since 1958. Brunner threw 29 career touchdowns. He attended the University of Delaware in Newark, DE and is one of several ex-Delaware Blue Hens quarterbacks to have played in the NFL.

He is currently a Stockbroker in NYC and lives in Millburn, NJ.
