The Scotch Bonnet (IPA: [ˈskatʃ boˈnei]), Semicassis granulata granulata, also known as Ridged Bonnet, is a marine gastropod snail in the Cassidae family. The shell was first identified in 1778 and is found along the Atlantic coast of the Americas from the southeast United States to Brazil.

The shell itself is classified as a helmet shell. It often grows to as large as 4 inches in length and has 20 spiral grooves on the body of the shell. The shell has a base color that is white or cream with blocks of brown or yellow and is extremely fragile. An intact Scotch Bonnet is a rare find for a beachcomber.

It is the state shell of North Carolina.
