[edit] Plot

Mystery Inc. visit Scotland to see Daphne's cousin, Shannon, but their holiday turns into a major mystery when the mythlogical Loch Ness Monster appears and wreaks havoc at Blake Castle. Not only will this affect the lives of the locals but it will destroy the traditional Games that are held at Blake Castle every year. It's up to the gang to solve the mystery and answer that has baffled mankind for years: "Is the Loch Ness Monster real?"

[edit] Actual Existance

Athough the monster that is seen throughout the movie ends up to be fake, it is strongly suggested at the end that the Loch Ness Monster does exist.

[edit] Trivia

  • This is the first Scooby-Doo direct-to-video movie that shows the Mystery Inc. Gang in the same clothes they wear in What's New, Scooby-Doo?
  • This is the first feature length Scooby-Doo movie to be set in Scotland but it is not the first time the Gang have been to Scotland.
  • It is revealed in this movie that Daphne has Scottish relatives.
  • This movie features the only appearance of Daphne's cousin, Shannon.

[edit] Goofs

  • In the movie it says that Daphne has relatives from Scotland, but in the original series, when the gang visited Scotland, she did not mention Shannon or Blake Castle.
  • When Fred, Daphne, and Velma are in the boat, in one scene, the Nessie balloon is shown on the Loch Ness Inn.But it should have been lost, because Shaggy and Scooby let go of it.
