Scissors For Lefty are an Indie band, based in San Francisco. releasing their debut album, Bruno, in 2005 by Rough Trade Records, UK.

San Luis Obispo is where they met, now residing in San Francisco. They "worked our asses off", and "burn the candle from all angles, in order to afford living in this contagious city".
Their first proper album release 'Underhanded Romance' was released on 8 January 2007 by Rough Trade in the UK, though as of February the album still has not been released. The album follows on from the singles 'Ghetto Ways' and 'Mama, Your Boys Will Find A Home' that were released in 2006.

Scissors For Lefty are on the road for a few CA Dates with The Pretty Vicious and The Cheat before they head acrosss the pond for a UK tour with The Fiery Furnaces. Then continue on to appear at Latitude festival.
Their album 'Underhanded Romance' is out in the US on June 12 and IS NOT YET available overseas. It should be released sometime in 2007 off of Rough Trade Records.
