Donatello: I've been worried a lot lately. For starters, I'm worried about the Foot. They're back ... and they're tougher than ever. And ... I'm worried about my brother, Leonardo. He's on a quest to parts unknown, and I'm worried he's not gonna find what he's been looking for. But mostly ... I'm worried that Leo won't find us alive when he gets back. Master Splinter tells me that I worry too much. Okay, you tell me. Should I be worried?

[edit] Plot synopsis

Michaelangelo, Rapheal, Donatello, and Splinter are caught off guard as an onslaught of Foot Ninja and weapons assault the lair, led by Karai, now donning the armor of the Shredder. Despite Splinter's opinion of her honor, Karai begins her plan of revenge by utterly destroying the lair, with the Turtles and Splinter narrowly escaping. They split off - Raph takes to the streets on his cycle, Mikey takes the Turtle Tunneler into the sewers, and Don and Splinter take the Turtle sub out into the Hudson river. All three groups appear to fall to their Foot pursuers. Karai, not satisified yet until she kills Leonardo, leaves a calling card for him with April at Second Time Around. It's the Sewer Sweet Sewer sign from the lair.

Karai becomes the new Shredder. And as shown, she has become more evil and brutal then her father, Oruko Saki/The Shredder.

The Turtle's lair is completely destroyed in this episode. Hamato Yoshi's orb, that was given to Splinter by Mr. Mortu in Secret Origins is destroyed, as well as Michelangelo's Battle Nexus Tournament trophy.
