Scientific Society of Aligarh

The Scientific Society of Aligarh was an organisation founded by Syed Ahmed Khan, who also founded the Aligarh Muslim University. The Scientific Society sought to promote liberal, modern education and Western scientific knowledge in the Muslim community in India.
