This image is obviously a duplication of the Scientology Symbol, [1] and is protected by law, [2], spelled out as a registered trademark here and can not be used anywhere except in an article about itself. In an article about itself, it apparently (I'm not a lawyer) falls under some kind of free speech law but if used in any article but about itself, its use implies that the Church of Scientology, as represented by the Religious Technology Center, has approved the content of the article and the use of its owned symbol. How can a church own a trademark? That is a device used by businesses. Looks like someone at the PTO screwed up and allowed it to be registered.--Fahrenheit451 15:14, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

I don't know the legals of it. I do know from a simple examination of the RTC website that they claim ownership of the symbol. Terryeo 15:42, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
