Talk:School zone

[edit] Removed Original Research - Criticism section
I have removed the section "Criticism"
- In a review of available research, the Transportation Research Board, part of the United States National Research Council, states, "Studies of the effectiveness of school zone limits ... generally found poor driver compliance ... and no relationship between pedestrian crashes and the [school zone]
as this as it stands is original research by an editor. Criticisms cannot be anonymous through Wikipedia but must be made by people or organisations. I searched through google to find who cites this as a criticsm of school zones and found only two:
- a research project by Aren Cambre, a student at SMU.
- an article at News Net Nebraska which is a "produced by students in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Nebraka-Lincoln".
I really think their criticism is not credible enough for Wikipedia. This is not to say that the reference is invalid, but to cite it anonymously as criticism is. Alex Sims 05:26, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
