Talk:Schloss Burg

'Linguistically, "Schloss Burg" would be translated as "castle castle"' -- I don't know, but I'd translate it as "palace castle" or "palace fortress" :) Alensha 23:33, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Certainly "palace" is a valid translation of "Schloss", but so is "castle". Schloss Neuschwanstein and Schloss Kaltenberg, for instance, are castles but called "Schloss" as they fulfilled representative functions by nobility. Schloss Burg is a castle as seen on the picture.Ekem 11:47, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
