[edit] The Fruit Loop

There is a section of Schenley_Park along Prospect Drive commonly referred to as "The Fruit Loop." This designation is at least 30 years old. It is the traditional area of town where gay men sun bathe during the summer, as well as other activities. This designation has been recently the mainstream newspaper, the Post-Gazette, in a series of 2005 articles [1] I know this portion of Schenley Park's character is highly disliked and disdained by the Pittsburgh Community as a whole, but its existence is factual and worth mentioning. If someone with more wiki experience could write a basic article, and link it here, I think it would add to the wiki's body of knowledge. (71.182.178.241 15:23, 1 April 2007 (UTC))
