Schuurhoek (elm cultivar)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Smooth-leaved Elm U. minor var. minor cultivar Schuurhoek was an old, nameless clone found in the vicinity of Goes, Netherlands, taken back into cultivation as 'Schuurhoek' by the Van't Westeinde nursery in the 1950s. Described as a tall tree, the trunk covered with light branches over its entire length, and reputedly very resistant to exposure. [1].
