Schule Birklehof

Schule Birklehof is a prestigious Round Square school located in Hinterzarten in the High Black Forest region of Southwest Germany. Round Square schools were created by educator Kurt Hahn, who felt that physical and mental development were equally important. Birklehof was founded in 1932 and is a sister school to the more famous Schloss Salem. About 220 students ranging from Grades 5-13 attend Birklehof, with a large majority of these living in residences.
