Schuerman

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Schuerman is a family name that comes from Old German language, meaning "one who shears," probably referring to sheep-shearing.[verification needed] Because of the inconsistency in transliterating German spellings sch to sh, ü to sundry combinations, and nn to n there are quite a number related variants. Some say that the transliteration of eu is a French derivation.[verification needed]
