Schouten tensor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In mathematics, more specifically differential geometry, the Schouten tensor is for n > 3 dimensions,
- 1 / (n − 2)Ric − R / [2(n − 1)]g
where Ric is the Ricci tensor, R is the Riemann tensor and g is the Riemannian metric.
The Weyl tensor equals the Ricci tensor minus the wedge product of the Schouten tensor with the metric.
