I'm going to be partially active for an undeterminable ammount of time due to a combination of upcoming exams, but also I'm not well. The warning signs are there, and people who know me know what they are. On top of that, I'm constantly being accused of things I haven't done, which is bringing me down. I'll be back soon, and I hope this won't affect my editing too much. Will 16:33, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Deathrocker

Concerning Deathrocker's arbcom case. The user is now claiming that Myself/Idont and Admin Sceptre are assuming bad faith in our statements on the ArbCom case.

On the talk page, he is also Wikilawyering claiming the whole Case is against policy, and claiming Sceptre is abusing his admin powers by filing the case, a claim that during his one month block he extended to five other admins that refused to unblock him, and several more on the ANI board.

He his also making claims that im making inflamatory claims and lying in my arbcom statement, but in the numerous times ive asked him to provide diffs he has refused. He's also persisting in making uncivil comments about my Parole, and telling me that i have to assume good faith or i will be banned, something which he seems to be gloating on.

In honesty it feels a lot like he is trying to bait me into making a personal attack or being incivil, as he seems to have a firm belief that i myself should not be allowed to comment on the Arbcom case at all.

Mainly i just dont know how to react or what to do, as ive tried apologising if i came across uncivil [1] and asked him to not make personal attacks [2], and both times he has ignored this and persisted in making inflamtory remarks. I am at a point of wanting to tell him to go F**k Himself, but i already told him that i have no like of him, but i will try to treat all my fellow Wikipedian's with respect [3].

Do you have any suggestions on how to deal with this, because he is really trying my patience. Ley Shade 09:33, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Block

Go ahead and block I.P. User: 206.176.126.164 he vandalized again Mahogany 16:25, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

O.K. Mahogany 16:33, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Regarding your Message

Which edit war are you talking about? And why have you only left a message on my talkpage claiming I'm been uncivil, while at the same time letting Leyasu get away with blatant uncivilities towards myself and personal attacks?... aren't you supposed to act unbiasedly as an adminstrator?

Thanks, - Deathrocker 20:08, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

It's the latest diff on the RfAr page. Will (E@) T 20:11, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

The latest diff is me rewording one of my own comments... I can't have a "edit war" with myself. And do you have an answer for the other question I asked? Regarding why you are letting Leyasu get away with blatant uncivilties towards me and personal attacks, without a warning, whereas you have chose to single me out? - Deathrocker 20:20, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

User:Mountndew

The contribs didn't look at all like A.B. to me. Of course, someone trying to hide may try to disguise themselves. Did you see something specific that made you think you knew who this was? Friday (talk) 15:13, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Definitely sock, definitely on A.B's side due to edit on WP:RFAr. Seems to have a grudge against ArbCom as well Will (E@) T 15:15, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Sure, but there are lots of people pissed about what they see as cronyism with respect to arbcom cases. Also, in this particular case, several people told Sidaway and Snowspinner they were in the wrong there- this sentiment is hardly unique to any one editor. Friday (talk) 15:19, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Stop vandalising my talk page

One of the other admins needs to do something about this. First he deleted my talk page for no reason, now he vandalized User talk:The Mad Bomber/header with the reason "remove status bit, it's rather annoying on the talk page".

He can't keep vandalizing my talk page like this, just because he is an admin. Something has to be done about this.

--The Mad Bomber 20:16, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

It wasn't unsigned, look above this! and check the history so you can see that I didn't just add that. I always sign my comments, and leave the {{helpme}} there, one of the other admins needs to see what you've been doing.
--The Mad Bomber 20:22, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
Oh, the irony. Anyway, there are other places for this Will (E@) T 20:26, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Deathrocker Blackmailing And Harassing Me

Deahtrocker has admitted to using a sockpuppet to bait me into violating parole [4]. I provided a sockpuppet of the user User:Mike5193 who has been vandalising my talk page with a final warning notice [5], after admin Snowflake and Tony had warned them for violating WP:NPA, WP:SOCK and WP:VANDAL. Deathrocker has sinced inadvertently admitted to owning all the accounts after i authored a check user on the matter [6]. Now Deathrocker is demanding i am banned for violation of my parole, and claims that his sockpuppetry is acceptable because i violated parole [7]. Despite your warning, Deathrocker has ignored it continues to deface the Arbirittion board through blanking sections of my statement so the sentences no longer say what i wrote, and is following every edit i make to the word harrasing and threatening me that if i do not drop from the arbirrition case he will have me banned for parole violation [8], [9], [10]. Im sorry Sceptre, but something needs to be done as this is getting stressfull, and im afraid to take a Wikibreak in case i miss something important with the ArbCase. Ley Shade 08:02, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

I have not "admitted" using a sock puppet to attack Leyasu, this is slander.... check the sock puppets board to see Leyasu's attack on me. [11] Check the case, I only deny any claims by Leyasu, that I'm these people. [12] just read the page, such claims by Leyasu are ridiculous.

Leyasu blanked sections of my ArbCom case [13] yesterday though there is no examples of me doing such a thing... again this is defemation of character.

I have however, requested Idont_Havanames assistance in regards to the slander against myself on the sockpuppets board [14], as it is a clear violation of Leyasu's personal attack parole (and Wikipedia policies in general), this is in correct following of Wikipedia policies on my part. - Deathrocker 08:17, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

Iasson sockpuppet?

Hi Sceptre, I notice that you edited Iasson's user page to show an extended block, though his actual block log doesn't show that block extension. Could you show me the diff or page that was edited by what you suspect to be an Iasson sockpuppet? I'd like to look at it and perhaps extend the block if it is a sockpuppet. Thanks, --Deathphoenix ʕ 18:57, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

P.S. Now that I see you're an admin, you could do that yourself. Never mind, you can disregard my message, but I'd still like to have a look at the diff if it's available. I have a particular interest in Iasson's activities. Thanks, Deathphoenix ʕ 18:59, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
It was on WP:AN/I four days ago. (Perm. link). Will (E@) T 19:09, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

Page Creation

I was wondering, When your exams are finished, If you would create the page:

User:72.226.205.243/monobook.js.

I don't want to change my status with my normal account, as that adds so many unnecessary edits. However, I use the auto edit feature included in Popups, so I need to have popups installed. However, I can't edit other "monobook.js" pages, and IP's aren't allowed to create pages, so I need an admin to do it.

Hope you do well on your exams.
--Primate#101 00:52, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

P.S. After you pay heed to the above warning, feel free to delete the formatting. It gets sort of annoying.

Why are you removing my comments?

Do not remove my comments from user pages. You have no right to do so. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you will be blocked. Please reinsert the text that you removed or I will be forced to report you. Lou franklin 16:10, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Going round and adding the exact same comment to every arbitrator's talk page AND Jimbo's is disruption. You've just come out of a RfAr. It's not the right time. Post on WP:ANI if you must. Will (E@) T 16:14, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Esperanza Newsletter, Issue #3

The Administrator Coaching program is a program aimed at preparing Wikipedians for Adminship or helping them understand the intricacies of Wikipedia better. Recently, changes have been made to the requirements of coachees. Please review them before requesting this service.
This would be something like the Welcoming Committee, but for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. Some might like suggestions about how to learn vandal patrol, or mentoring on taking an article to featured status, or guidance with a proposal they plan to make at the Village Pump, for example. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.
Stressbusters
The Stressbusters are a subset of Esperanza aiming to investigate the causes of stress. New eyes on the situation are always welcome!
Note from the editor
As always, MiszaBot handled this delivery. Thank you! Also, congratulations go to Pschemp, Titoxd and Freakofnurture for being elected in the last elections! An Esperanzial May to all of the readership!
  1. Posting logs of the Esperanza IRC channel are explicitly banned anywhere. Violation of this rule results in deletion and a ban from the channel.
  2. A disclaimer is going to be added to the Esperanza main page. We are humans and, as such, are imperfect.
  3. Various revisions have been made to the Code of Conduct. Please see them, as the proposal is ready to be ratified by the community and enacted. All members will members to have to re-confirm their membership after accepting the Code of Conduct.
  4. Referendums are to be held on whether terms of AC members should be lengthened and whether we should abolish votes full stop.
  5. Admin Coaching reform is agreed upon.

Religion userboxes

Hey. I've just noticed that none of the userboxes covered by your group TfD nomination have had TfD tags added to them. Would you mind adding them and moving the debate to today's date? I thought I'd give you a chance to clear it up if you just forgot - if you want, I can do the work. SeventyThree(Talk) 19:25, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

There's a notice on Wikipedia:Userboxes/Religion alerting people of the TfD. Will (E@) T 19:36, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
But how many of the people using the userboxes will visit that page in the next seven days? It's the sort of page which people visit once to see if there's anythign they want, and never again. Some of the people using the templates will have got them from elsewhere and not even know about the page's existence, let alone visit it every week. SeventyThree(Talk) 21:09, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Hipi Zhpripi

Hi, you permablocked User:Hipi Zhdripi a few weeks ago. Could you please unblock him now. He's not a bad user - he's an administrator at the Albanian Wikipedia (under the name Dan) and spends most of his time there, where he is one of the more productive editors. Unlike the English Wikipedia, the Albanian Wikipedia has only about ten regular users and is significantly more informal than here, and as I'm sure you've discovered yourself, his command of English is rather defective; most of his work here was adding interwikis and working on short Albania-Kosovo related stubs, and he has been here for over a year. Because of his limited command of English, he may have had a very limited understanding of what was going on and may have misread the warnings. I'm sure he's got the hint now, so could you please consider unblocking him. Thanks. --Telex 22:01, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Providing he isn't a disruptive influence here, I'll unblock him Will (E@) T 09:12, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. Telex 09:25, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
I do not think he is ready yet, given his recent attacks on my talk page (saying he's keeping an eye on me and that he's going to uncover me as not being a real Spaniard, etc) and at Talk:Kosovo, after I explained him he cannot copy and paste pages and pages of a copyrighted text as it goes against Fair Use. In any case, the problem is not about "misreading warnings" but a lack of civility and assuming good faith. Given his behaviour at a recent RfA too, I would not recommend the ban is removed yet, as he is still unapologetic about it. Regards, Asterion talk to me 14:29, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
You need to explain it to him in Albanian, or if you can't get someone to do it for you. Also, please review the behaviour of c-c-c-c (talk contribs). Why Hipi's banned, but he's still on the loose is a mystery to me. Telex 14:32, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Yes, in Albanian. The problem is this is English language wikipedia and there are not many helpful translators around. Well, anyway, let's give the guy a chance, but he should try to stick to Francis Tyers' suggestions at User_talk:Telex. Can you translate this for him?--Asterion talk to me 14:38, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
I had trouble in my French exam on Thursday, I don't know how I could do it in Albanian Will (E@) T 14:44, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Sorry for creating this page with random name, I only wanted to test a language code in a preview, and clicked save instead. I wanted to delete it immediately, but you did it before me. Thanks. verdy_p 15:36, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Reversing another admin's actions

If you disagree with my deletion, come and discuss it with me (I'm open to reason), if we don't agree - you may go to WP:DRV. However, as arbcom has made clear in recent cases, reversing another admins action without discussion is totally unacceptable. I will now refer that matter to DRV, which is perhaps what you should have done. --Doc ask? 16:34, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

I cannot believe that you seriously restored this mindless bit of nonsense. --Tony Sidaway 22:17, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
I can't believe it was actually deleted in the first place. I'll agree for a DRV, though. Sorry. Will (E@) T 05:18, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
On second thoughts, seeing the DRV a few weeks back, keep it deleted Will (E@) T 05:50, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
IT was not DRV'd a few weeks ago AFAIK. But you should not have reversed my deletion. Arbcom have desysopped admins for that recently. If you don't agree with an admin action, then firstly discuss it with them, secondly, if no agreement is reached you should take it to DRV. Reversing admin action without discussion has been classed as wheel=warring. And it is certainly not worth you getting arbcommed over a crappy template like this. On this occassion, no harm done, the thing is now gone, but please don't do it again. Thanks. --Doc ask? 09:13, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Community Justice Newsletter

Welcome
Previously, various notices regarding Community Justice have gone out to our members; though this is the first actual newsletter. This issue will contain information regarding decisions made on the first meeting, our new council, and more...!

New Council
Following our first elections, a new council has been elected.Computerjoe and Ian13 remain as chairman and chief executive (respectively); while Eddieh, Wiki alf and Xchrisblackx are replaced as councillors by Ilyanep, Osbus and Covington. The Giant Puffin and Pureblade remain as councillors.
Member Conduct
In the last meeting, the conduct of 4 members were discussed. Ethnopunk will be put on probation, supervised by Ian13, if he/she is uncivil during this probation, he/she will be expelled from WP:CJ; the same was decided for Misza13 (voluntarily), and his probation will be supervised by Computerjoe. No action will be taken against Computerjoe.
Barnstar
The Civility Barnstar which our member's have designed has been sent to Barnstar and award proposals. We'd appreciate your feedback!

Also, we are planning to make a Community Justice barnstar to give to hard-working CJ members. If you're a budding designer, consider trying to make it, then post your proposal to WT:CJ!
