Howdy again, did you have a user page written up earlier? - Hephaestos 22:22, 31 Aug 2003 (UTC)
- I have not yet written up a user page. I probably should, now that I've discovered that this site is addictive as hell. - Scarequotes 02:05, 1 Sep 2003 (UTC)

[edit] Blaze Starr
Hi. You said "Feedback wanted" on your Blaze Starr article. It looks good to me. I'm glad to see her covered (Oh! As soon as I wrote that I realized that's a curious thing to say about a stripper... LOL!) here. We need more about some of the more coloful aspects of Louisiana history. Blaze Away, Cheers, -- Infrogmation 19:47, 3 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks. Coming from you, I'm especially pleased -- you're quite the contributer! I'm never sure how much detail is too much detail, but I figure it's better to cut than to try to add stuff later. And having just read her autiobiography, it's certain that Starr definitely added a fair bit of color to Louisiana when she was there... -- Scarequotes 20:03, Mar 3, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Good work on Q score
I liked your article on Q scores. It got me wondering about how the index is calculated. Do you know the weighting formula? Also an example of the survey question(s) used to assess "favourable opinion" would be interesting. I found the examples Q scores of various people and products very instructive, infact more of them would be good, if you are aware of them. Just one note of caution: try not to reference the companies name more than once or twice. There are many Wikipedians that get very upset if they think this site is being used for commercial promotional purposes or as a traffic generating vehicle. Good work. mydogategodshat 16:09, 11 May 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Cricket magazine
Just noticed you wrote the Cricket article--too cool. My family subscribed to that one from the beginning in '74 up till I became a teenager in '87. Loved it. Pretty much learned to read from it. --Lukobe 16:52, 16 Jun 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Featured article
How much further do you think we have to go until this is worthy of (self-)nomination as a featured article? --Lukobe 01:02, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Sub Pop
Hey there, Regarding List of companies based in Seattle, Does Warner really own Sub Pop now? I thought they owned 49% of Sub Pop and Pavitt and Poneman owned the other 51%. --Lukobe 05:47, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Hoover's describes Sub Pop as a "business division," but it is also listed as a separate company with a Seattle address. And subpop.com doesn't mentoin Warner at all. Hmm. Frankly, I'm not an expert on Sub Pop's ownership structure, so you're likely right.
- Regardless, I'm thinking that Sub Pop and the Bon might be be better off in the "currently based in Seattle" section regardless. They're each still local. And Bon-Macy's [i]is[/i] the regional HQ for stores throughout the northwest, even though they're part of Federated. Scarequotes 01:59, Aug 17, 2004 (UTC)
- Sounds good! Lukobe 02:07, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Light more light!
Thanks for being a loyal Lawrentian and starting the Wikipedia page on our alma mater. I wasn't sure there was going to be an article there and was pleasantly surprised to find one. Cheers, --Illusio80 03:42, 30 July 2006 (UTC) LU '02
PS, with a name light that, you *must* be a Fritzell veteran. I never actually had a class with him, but I'm well acquainted with his idiosyncrasies anyway. :D --Illusio80 03:44, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
