Scars of the Crucifix is Deicide's 7th studio album, released in February 2004 and their first album under new label Earache Records. The title-track, Scars of the Crucifix, was used for their first ever music video, filmed in Nottingham. This was also the last album to feature the Hoffman brothers on guitar.

  • About 20 seconds after the end of 'The Pentecostal' (about 3:06), there is a hidden track played on piano.
  • The 3 second long indistinguishable phrase said at the start of 'When Heaven Burns', when played backwards, says 'Doing it all for my love of Satan, yo'.
