Scarlino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Grosseto in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 100 km southwest of Florence and about 25 km northwest of Grosseto. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,409 and an area of 88.3 km².^[1]

Scarlino borders the following municipalities: Castiglione della Pescaia, Follonica, Gavorrano, Massa Marittima.
