Scarlett Johnson (born 1985) is a British actress who is most famous for playing Vicki Fowler in BBC's flagship soap opera EastEnders
Johnson attended Highgate Wood School and Performing Arts College, the same school as current EastEnders actress Tiana Benjamin. She is educated to A-level standard, but had originally planned to continue her education at a drama school. She was first spotted by an agent in a student production of Guys and Dolls in which she played the lead[citation needed].
EastEnders was Johnson's first TV role. Previous to that she had appeared in stage productions as a child, notably a six-month run in an acclaimed National Theatre production of Dylan Thomas' Under Milkwood directed by Roger Mitchell.
Since leaving the soap opera Johnson has concentrated on work in the theatre and appeared as a contestant on the Strictly Come Dancing spin off Strictly Ice Dancing and the quiz show Test The Nation.
In 2005 Johnson appeared in an open air run of Romeo and Juliet at Stafford Castle opposite Bruno Langley, as the lead in the acclaimed UK tour of Daisy Miller and in the pantomime Cinderella at the Stafford Gatehouse.
