Scarborough Field Naturalists' Society (SFNS) are the wildlife group behind the 'Scarborough Wildlife' website, and are based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. The name may sound a little old-fashioned these days, but it dates back to 1889 when the Society was founded. They are a friendly bunch of 'amateur naturalists' with interests ranging from beetles to badgers and covering most things in between (even geology). There are members at all levels of knowledge, from interested beginners to those with specialist knowledge in their chosen fields.

Indoor meetings are held twice per month (except during the summer break), and generally feature a speaker as well as reports from members. Field trips and outdoor meetings are also held throughout the year.

The Society's Patron is Lord Derwent and the Society is affiliated to the Yorkshire Naturalists' Union.
