Scambusters

ScamBusters is a New Zealand Internet consumer protection group that monitors online auction scams and frauds. Founded in 2003, the groups has approximately 2,700 members as of December, 2006.

Their website mprofiles typical scams, and their forums offer advice and provide assistance to victims of auction fraud. They have a free downloadable fraud kit to help victims file police complaints.

The majority of the ScamBusters work involves scams on Trademe, New Zealand's biggest auction site.
