Sawston Village College
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sawston Village College was the first Village College, and opened in 1930. The then Chief Education Officer for Cambridgeshire, Henry Morris, had a vision for schools that would serve the whole community, and stem migration from the countryside to the towns.
The Classic FM Music Teacher of the Year for 2006, Janet McLeod, is Head of Music at Sawston Village College.
