[edit] Meaning of "Military"

Replied to your question here. Hope that helps! Kirill Lokshin 03:36, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Defence of the Falkland Islands

Hi, I reverted your edits at Category:Defence of the Falkland Islands. Please note that the common layout used on military-related categories is "Military of..." and not "Defence of...", see e.g. Category:Military by country. Have a good day. --Nkcs 03:58, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

If you disagree with the "Military of..." usage you can raise a discussion at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion (yes, deletion, see the page for some examples) and request a move for all "Military of..." categories to new "Defence of..." ones. If you want to move a category please notify someone first; regardless of British Armed Forces, Wikipedia aims to standarize the majority of its content. Cheers. --Nkcs 04:49, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
It is blatantly obvious that you didn't, or merely wish to, take a look to WP:MOS. Perhaps a look to H:CG, WP:CG or WP:NCCAT will fresh your mind.
Saying that I have a "dismissive and offhand style" or that my suggestion "is odd" is an biased offense against me and my edits, and a direct violation against Wikipedia's official policies like WP:AGF and WP:CIV. I am warning you: stop trolling on my talk page, or your editing privileges will be permanently denied.
You posted untiringly on my talk page that British Armed Forces is not called "Military of the United Kingdom" or "Military of Great Britain". If you didn't noticed before, articles are not the same as categories here, and as such both have different guidelines to deal with. Nevertheless, changing the path of a category without notifying anyone as you did goes against general consensus; but what surprises me most is that you are still moving the categories even after I left a comment on your talk page explicitly asking you to stop. --Nkcs 08:49, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Could you watch this stub

Age of Sail is a new stub and it would benefit if somebody with a bit background knowledge keeps it on his watchlist. Thank you. Wandalstouring 23:02, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
