Welcome to my wiki page. Having used wiki and being fan of this concept for long, I officially joined wiki in 2006.

I am a scientist with a PhD in Genetics (Developmental Biology) and have two masters in molecular genetics and lifesciences. My first degree was in Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.

I would like to mould myself as an internationalist even though I grew up in an amazing small town Burla, (Orissa, India) nestled in the banks of river Mahanadi in western Orissa.

I have taken a few tentative steps in the direction of exploring the Dharmic religions i.e Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism. Currently I am reading the book 'Hinduism: A Short History' By Klaus Klostermaier, Oneworld Oxford.

I am also interested in studying other religions especially Judaism and Christianity and Atheism. I someday hope to go into comparative religion.

Other issues in which I am interested are Bioethics, Climate Change, Globalisation, Technology Transfers.

I am looking forward to learn Sanskrit and Oriya.

I am open to discussions on any subjects. Hope to hear from you.
