"Save Ginny Weasley" is one of the more well-known songs from Harry and the Potters' original debut album. It's also featured on their Myspace page.
[edit] Premise
Save Ginny Weasley is about the second Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It's sung from the perspective of Harry himself, and is about saving Ginny (Ron's sister) from the Basilisk (the giant snake that's terrorizing the school).
[edit] Fun Facts
It's interesting to note that, although Harry Potter is only one person, the band says that "We" need to save her. This is because both of the band members are Harry. A Norwegian wizard metal band by the name of Voldemort - Wizard Metal covered this song. [1]Although, the lyrics are changed to "Feeding The Basilisk". Harry and the Potters also recorded the song "Save Ginny Weasley From Dean Thomas" on the band's 2006 album, Power of Love.
