Savannah River Winds

The Savannah River Winds (SRW) is a semi-professional community wind ensemble conducted by Richard Brasco and Lou Cefus.
SRW is based in the central Savannah River area of Georgia and South Carolina, which includes the cities of Augusta and Aiken.
Membership in SRW is through audition. Its members include college music professors, middle and secondary school band directors, and active and former military band members.
The Savannah River Winds maintain a regular concert schedule including a Veteran's Day concert and the Hopeland Gardens concert series. The group also performs for regional and state conferences and band festivals.
In June 2005, SRW created their first recording, Legend of the Sword: the music of David Shaffer.
