Savage Rabbit
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Savage Rabbit is the name applied to a tactical defense to Blitzkrieg warfare whereby the target initially does not oppose the invading forces. After the invading forces overtake the target cities or territory, the resident forces and/or civilian population attack the enemy from the rear with an emphasis on severing supply lines which are often over extended due to the speed with which Blitzkrieg forces advance. The name is derived from the propensity for rabbits to hold still as hunters approach, rather than flee, which allows the animals to remain undetected as the threat passes.
More recently, The Savage Rabbit is the name of a firearms training and consulting limited liability company which offers instruction in NRA Basic Pistol courses as well as personalized training. Based in Los Angeles, the company's NRA CERTIFIED instructors maintain an internet forum at www.thesavagerabbit.com [1] to discuss firearm related topics and to schedule classes and lessons.
