[edit] Summary

Digital image taken by Richard Chambers of the Forsyth Park fountain in Savannah, Georgia. Photo taken April 1, 2006 with Olympus C-740 digital camera.

See the description of the fountain and its history at the following URL. This document indicates the fountain was originally made in 1858 and renovated in 1960 and again in 1988. The fountain was inspired by similar fountains designed and installed in Paris, the capital of France during the urban renewal there in the mid 1800s.
