Saurosuchus ('lizard crocodile') is an extinct genus of archosaur reptile belonging to the rauisuchian order. With a length of 7 m (23 ft), it was the largest member of the group. Like other rauisuchians, Saurosuchus walked on four fully erect limbs. It probably attacked prey from an ambush.
