Saurav Ghosal

Saurav Ghosal became the first Indian ever to win the coveted British Junior Open U-19 Squash title, defeating Adel El Said of Egypt in the final at Sheffield, England. He was the # 1ranked junior in the world in 2004
Saurav moved to Chennai after completing his schooling and was based at the ICL squash academy in Chennai and coached by Maj (Rtd) Maniam and Cyrus Poncha in Chennai, India. Currently based in Leeds, he trains with Malcolm Willstrop. Saurav is the current Indian national champion defeating Gaurav Nandrajog at the recently concluded National Championships, 2006 in New Delhi. He current world ranking is no 49. He recently won the bronze medal at the Asian Games 2006 Doha. Otters PSA 2006 was his maiden PSA tournament victory and is the British Universities champion.
