Satyanarayan Jatiya (born 4 February 1946) is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Ujjain constituency of Madhya Pradesh. He is a former federal minister of India and a senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. .He was cabinet minister from 1999 to 2004 and held portfolios of labour and social justice and empowerment.

Born in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh in 1946 he studied B.Sc., MA., LL.B., Ph.D at Vikram University, Ujjain .He joined politics in 1972 and was detained adetained under MISA during emergency .He was elected to Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1977. He was later elected to 7th, 9th, 10th,11th and 13th Lok Sabha from Ujjain.

He is a poet too and a collection of his poems Alakh was published in 1995.
