Satu Rautaharju is a Canadian actress, model, and rock singer. Born in Nova Scotia, to a Finnish father and a Trinidadian mother, she spent her childhood in Canada and her teens in North Carolina. In Alberta Satu trained in theatre, dance, art, and music from the age of 4. She studied guitar, voice, and drama closely. She filmed her first principal role on television with Dawson's Creek in 2003. 1

In Canada, North Carolina, and New York City, Satu Rautaharju appeared in many musicals and stage productions including Jesus Christ Superstar, Guys and Dolls, and James and the Giant Peach.
Starred in several indie films: playing "Misty", the goth chick serial killer in dark comedy, Communication Breakdown. "Sarah Reid," the nerd who dies last for horror feature In The Woods (Troma Films). "Brenda," a pregnant woman who is murdered by her fugitive husband (Born of Blood, Bandurango Brazil-foreign film).
And in Dawson's Creek, playing herself, as the singer of the horror-punk band Straight Razor Seduction (Dawson's British boss directs a music video for the band, which takes place in hell). 2

A scream queen favorite, Satu Rautaharju has been made the official spokesmodel for Blood Manor Haunted Attraction. Recently cast as the lead role, Theodora, in the vampire feature film trilogy, Red Scream Vampyres (filming in June, 2007).

Producing and starring in The Adventures of Captain Schoolgirl , a satire about the Catholic school system and the student heroine who decides to fight back. The future TV series also has a sister comic book series.3

In February 2005, Satu Rautaharju was rumored to play Wonder Woman in WB's feature adaptation of the classic DC Comics character. Since Joss Whedon dropped out of the project, it has not been confirmed if Ms. Rautaharju will be playing the female superhero.4
