Sattar Memon

Sattar Memon was born June 1, 1947 in a small village in Rajasthan, India. He went to The United States of America in 1973.
He has been an Associate Professor of Medicine at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island since 1996 and holds M.D. and F.A.C.P. degrees.
Married to Marjorie Memon, they have two sons, Javed and Adam.
He is a member of RWA of Rhode Island.
Among his published works are seven short stories and his first novel, The Ashram (novel), which has already won the second place award in the Inspirational Category of the 13th Annual Writer's Digest International Self-Published Book Awards. His anthology of spiritually based short stories is forthcoming.
