Satomi Yajima is a fictional character from Variable Geo series. She is rival of the protagonist, Yuka Takeuchi.

Satomi is a young woman who only lives with her little brother, Daisuke Yajima. As both her parents died in a traffic accident, she earns money for living expenses and school tuition by working part-time jobs while caring for her younger brother. She goes to the same school as Yuka and also trains in the same dojo as she does; they've become friends this way. Her personality is hot-blooded and impulsive, straight-forward. In a beginning, she enters to the V.G. tournament because she needs the money for a very expensive operation to save his brother. After that, she enters just for training and for fights against Yuka.

- Kaenzan (Rolling Fire) - Satomi jumps into the air, both arms splayed and aflame.
- Gokuenshou - Satomi brings her flaming heel down on her opponent in a kick.
- Shinkuu Karatake-wari (Fire Bomber) - Satomi jumps into the air and brings her arm down in a flaming chop.
- Shinkuu Karatake-tsuika - After performing the Shinkuu Karatake-wari, Satomi brings her arm up in a flaming backhand strike to her opponent.
- Ouhou - Move similar to Shinkuu Karatake-wari but without fire.
- Hissatsu Kyokushin-ken - Her only super. Satomi's whole body catches aflame as she performs a lethal striking combination on her opponent.

Her story is similar to the first games of V.G. series. Satomi also was a V.G. warrior, but she retired from fights to take care his brother Daisuke. But an accident left Daisuke in the hospital and Satomi needs the money to the operation of his brother. Reimi Jyahana then offers her a good amount of money if she wins the tournament. Satomi accepts the offer and participes again in the tournament, defeating Ayako Yuuki, who tried to flirting with her. But the original plans for her was used her body to revive Miranda Jyahana, so Satomi was brainwashed and converted in a killing machine, to finally used as host of Miranda's spirit. Brainwashed Satomi defeats Chiho Matsuda, Kaori Yanase and ever Reimi Jyahana, who discovered the original plans of her mother. In the end, Yuka defeated her and freed her from the brainwash, both joinning forces to defeat Miranda.

- Satomi resembles Ken Masters from Street Fighter series, especially in 2 facts: her powers are based in fire like Ken, and her relationship and rivaltry with Yuka Takeuchi is very similar to Ken with Ryu. Also in the OVAs, Satomi is brainwashed, became more powerful, just like Ken in the SFII: The Animated Movie and later as Violent Ken in SVC: Chaos.
- Ayako Yuuki has a love interest on Satomi, never corresponded, since Satomi doesn't like women like Ayako.
- The name of Satomi's restaurant, Bikkuri Monkey, is a parody of the real-life Japanese famiresu chain Bikkuri Donkey.
