Situated high above the Asia Pacific region are a number of geostationary satellites retransmitting hundreds of tv and radio services, some encrypted and some not. This page outlines the principal sources of tv news available to viewers with a satellite tv system, discusses the services, and their content. It concentrates on English language news services.
