[edit] SATEC
SATEC stands for Scarborough Academy for Technological, Environmental and Computer education. Entrance into the school has been a tough process in the last few years because there is high demand of this type of education and as such large number of applications are received each year. At SATEC, you can take courses such as CISCO Networking, Computer Engineering and Technical Design. Since these changes have been implemented, SATEC has become one of the top schools in Toronto for students to attend.
[edit] Trivia
- The Environmental Club was instrumental in SATEC's achieving GOLD level status as a TDSB EcoSchool.
- The school was used by the Mon Sheong Foundation Chinese School for their Saturday Cantonese language programs on the 1980s and 1990s.
