Sascha Konietzko (born June 21, 1961 in Hamburg, Germany), also known as Sascha K and Käpt'n K, is the frontman of the industrial music band KMFDM, having founded the group in 1984. He is the only member of KMFDM to appear on every album. He has formed a number of side-projects, such as Excessive Force in 1990, MDFMK in 1999 with Lucia Cifarelli and Tim Skold, and Schwein in 2000. Konietzko and Cifarelli married in 2005.

He has resided in the United States since 1992, dividing his time between Chicago, NYC and Seattle.

In 2006, Konietzko and Cifarelli teamed up with Dean Garcia for the project KGC. Their first album Dirty Bomb was released on December 14, 2006.

Konietzko jokingly purports himself to be the father of industrial rock.
