Sarnia Observer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sarnia Observer is a daily newspaper in Sarnia, Ontario and Lambton County. The paper is owned by Osprey Media and has a circulation of over 22,000 in Lambton County. It began publishing in 1853 and has continued to be the dominant source for local media in the area.

While the Observer features a section for national, local, sports, and entertainment news, they have also tried to reach a younger audience by influencing young adults in to the craft of journalism in recent years. Every Friday there is a youth section written entirely by students for students. Edge Magazine is another attempt by the Observer to reach a younger audience while supporting local artists and musicians with a special entertainment section.
