Sarai (born as Sarai Howard on January 23, 1981) is a white female rapper, born in Kingston, New York. Sarai had a single "Ladies" from her debut album The Original, both released in 2003.

Born and raised in upstate New York, Sarai Howard didn't exactly imagine herself as a rapper. While her single mother played Fleetwood Mac records, Sarai's older brother exposed his kid sister to the heavy, hard-knock world of hip-hop. Seminal albums by the likes of N.W.A., Public Enemy, and Run-D.M.C. impacted Sarai so much, she wrote her first rhyme at age 15. Two years later, she and a friend took a trip to Atlanta. It was there that Sarai would get her lucky break. She was introduced to producer L.J. Sutton (aka Chocolate Starr), leaving a quick impression as a slick Yankee girl whose rhymes were just as tight as those on the streets. In 2000, Sarai left her college jaunt behind to re-join Sutton down South. Her career was in the works in two years time and Sarai landed a deal with Epic. Her first single was "Pack Ya Bags."

Shortly after permantly relocating to Atlanta and taking rap seriously, Sarai landed a deal with Epic. In 2001, she was prominetly featured on label-mate P.Y.T. single "Same Ol' Same Ol' as a featured rapper. Also appearing in their music video. "It's Official" a track from her debut "The Original" also appeared as a hidden track on their debut album.

2002: Pack Ya Bags was release to radio and as a single. Her record label dubbed her "Feminem" in an attempt to draw comparisons between her and fellow artist Eminem.

In 2003, "Ladies" was release as an official single to radio. Landing on the billboard hot 100 charts at #28. "The Original" the album was released on July 29, 2003. The album entered the Billboard 200 chart at No.187. [1] The album featured productions from: Scott Storch, LJ 'Chocolate Starr" Sutton, Beau Dozier and many others.

Epic Records decided to no longer release anything else from "The Original". Sarai decided to leave Epic Records not long after the album's release.

[edit] 2005 - Present: Music

Sarai, re-emerge back into the music. This time appearing under the name "Miss Eighty 6". She landed on the Fantastic Four movie soundtrack. Featuring on the track "Now You Know" with rapper Classic. Re-inventing herself, going for a more rock direction in her music.

She also featured as a guest vocalist on Crossfade - "Cold" Deetown remix [2].
