Sarah Taylor was discovered in the MuchMusic audience in 2004, and was asked to be one of the VJs for the channel. She accepted the offer. She is most noticed by her 5'11" height, and her afro like hair style, which adds at least 4 more inches to her height. Taylor, originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, has a younger sister (by 6 years), Sabrina.

Taylor now co-hosts many of MuchMusic's popular shows, including Combat Zone, MuchOnDemand and MuchTakeOver.

It was announced Friday, February 16, 2007 on MuchMusic's website that Sarah Taylor underwent emergency surgery at a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, February 15, 2007 to "relieve pressure on her brain". Tests revealed that the pressure was caused by her skull being fractured, which was caused by an accidental fall. Taylor was in Las Vegas on assignment for MuchMusic.
