Sarah Susanka

Sarah Susanka (b. circa 1957) is an England-born American architect and author.

Susanka is a proponent of the "Not So Big" philosophy of residential architecture, which aims to "build better, not bigger".

She is a breast cancer survivor.

Prior to her highly successful writing career Sarah was a founding partner of the residential architecture firm of Mulfinger, Susanka, Mahady. The firm now goes by the name SALA Architects and is based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
