Sarah Mellon

Sarah Mellon (19031965) was the niece of Andrew W. Mellon (Secretary of the Treasury during the Great Depression). Along with her brother R.K. Mellon, she was made heir to the Mellon fortune, including Mellon Bank and major investments in Gulf Oil and Alcoa. Her son, Richard Mellon Scaife, is the owner–publisher of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
