Sarah Coleman

Sarah Coleman, also known as Inkymole, is an illustrator and lettering artist based in the UK, with a background in theatre and props. She works for advertising, print, design, new media and film clients in the UK, US and abroad.

Graduating in 1993 with a first class honours in illustration and an award for experimental typography, she worked on a series of productions at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon before deciding to illustrate full-time.

Sarah has exhibited since 1994 but her 2006 show 'If A Girl Writes Off The World' in Brick Lane, East London, was her first major showing of personal work at which the subject matter of the show - Sage Francis and his words - performed a live 40 minute spoken word performance.

She is currently in talks with the production crew of a new film, about a demon barber, due for release in 2007.

The show is currently being taken to New York to coincide with the release of Sage's new album 'Human The Death Dance', released May 8th, and which she co-created the artwork for. The Chelsea-based show runs from 1-7 May 2007.
