Sarah Barrington is a fictional character from the Highlander movies, portrayed by actress Deborah Unger.

Sara Barrington was an old love interest of Connor MacLeod that strangely looked similar to Alex Johnson. Connor met the Englishwoman in France at the estate of her uncle, Monsieur de Frenet, shortly before the French Revolution started in 1789. They had a brief romance that lasted one year, until Macleod was summoned by Immortal Pierre Bouchet to aid in the French Revolution and had to leave Sara. Connor got arrested and was sentenced to be decapitated. He was saved at the last minute by Bouchet, who took his place on the guillotine because he was tired of The Game. Sara witnessed Bouchet’s beheading and mistakenly thought him to be Macleod. Sara went back to England and later married and had children. In 1800, Macleod tried to return to her but when he saw her with her husband and children, he decided that it was better that way and left her forever.
